0-100 km/s süresi pist/spor performansının tek göstergesi değildir — yarım pist süresi, tepki süresi (rolling acceleration), maksimum hız ve viraj performansı da dikkate alınmalıdır. Yine de hızlanma rakamı; ivmelenme kapasitesinin en kolay anlaşılır göstergesi olarak öne çıkar.
